In 1987, some undergraduates in Umulokpa organised a tree-planting campaign. It was during this programme that the idea of a unified body of Educated Elites was midwifed. This was made a reality after several pathfinding meetings, when on 24th December 1991 UMAC was inaugurated under the leadership of Late Dr. Vincent Ekwunife, in an epoch-making event with people from walks of life, timbers, and calibers of Umulokpa in attendance.

UMAC will engage in extensive campaigns at the grassroots level through the undergraduate arm for mass enrolment into secondary and tertiary institutions. It will also engage in programmes to put every child back to school and sponsor indigent in school through the award of scholarship.

UMAC will engage government and other stakeholders to provide modern education infrastructure and an improved learning environment in Umulokpa

UMAC's mandate is to educate and empower the youths in Umulokpa. Education is the most powerful weapon with which you can change the world

We must work together to bridge the lacuna created in Umulokpa during these years of when UMAC was in coma. This second coming of UMAC is timely and will yield a lot of fruits if properly nurtured.
